Hold Me Now

On our first visit to Premise Beach, Jon Covell wooed the mysterious Mikolah with “a lovely, delicate piece of acoustic pop” (Drowned in Sound). This time round he’s plugged in the guitars and found an upbeat groove, but the air of heartfelt honesty and anxiety remains. Put simply in his own words “Hold Me Now is a guitar song, a track built out bits of guitars”.

Hold Me Now is released on 30th April backed by an alternative mix by fellow Mancunians, Working for a Nuclear Free City, which draws out extra kick and attitude from the original production.

Following the aforementioned Mikolah, Hold Me Now is the second instalment in the four-part “Welcome to… Premise Beach” series of digital singles released bimonthly on the Pure Casual label.
